Raymond Pickrell(16 March 1938 – 20 February 2006) was anEnglishshort-circuit motorcycleroad racerwho won fourIsle of Man TTmotorcycle races.[1]

Pickrell was born inHarrow Weald,Middlesex.[2]

During his early career, Pickrell rode for tuners/race entrantsFrancis Beart,Geoff MontyandPaul Dunstall.[3][4]

As a member of theTriumphfactory racing team, he rode the famous racing motorcycle namedSlippery Samto victories at the1971and1972Isle of Man TT races.[2]Pickrell teamed withPercy Taitto win the 1971Bol d'Or24-hourendurance race.[2]He died on 20 February 2006.[2]
