Richard Hakluyt (barrister)

Richard Hakluyt(born by 1531 – died 1591), of theMiddle Temple,London andEytoninLeominster,Herefordshire, was an Englishbarrister,a cousin of hismore famous namesake.

In 1558 Hakluyt was briefly aMemberof theParliament of EnglandforLeominster.In 1571 he was appointed Commissioner for Customs and became abencherof the Middle Temple in May 1585. His Will wasprovedin 1591.[1]
