Robin Charles George Sidebotham(8 April 1956 – 26 April 2024) was a Britishrockguitarist, singer, songwriter and producer.[1]He achieved success during 1985 with the song "Heartline", which peaked at #68 in theUK Singles Chartand #92 in the USHot 100(#40 in theMainstream Rockchart).[2][3]The single was featured on George's debut albumDangerous Music(1984).[4]Born inWolverhampton,Staffordshire(nowadaysWest Midlands), George collaborated with several artists during his career includingDavid Byron,Phil Lynott,Glenn Hughes,Robert Plant,John WettonandMagnum.[1]Born in 1956,[5][4]George died on 26 April 2024, at the age of 68.[6]
