Roger Daniel Kitter(20 October 1949 – 3 January 2015) was an English actor, comedian andimpressionist,best known for playingCaptain Alberto Bertorelliinseries 7of the British sitcom TV series'Allo 'Allo!after the actorGavin Richardsleft the role.[2]

He had previously appeared weekly withLuluthroughout the 10-week run of her 1973 BBC1 seriesIt's Luluand was a regular on the ITV showWho Do You Do?.WithKaplan Kayehe also recorded a song "Chalk Dust - The Umpire Strikes Back"using themonicker"The Brat".[1]Released on theHansalabel,it entered theUK Singles Charton 10 July 1982; it reached a peak of number 19, and remained in the chart for 8 weeks.[1]The song was aTop 10hitin theNetherlands,Belgiumand South Africa, and lampoonedJohn McEnroecomplaining about line calls in tennis ( "The ball's in, everyone can see that the ball's in!" ).[citation needed]He also provided the voice ofTommy Cooperin the Lego "Kipper" advertisement.
