Alexander "Sasha" Yevgenevich Yevtushenko(born 31 January 1979[1]) is a director and producer ofradio dramasforBBC Radio.[3]He is a son ofRussianpoetYevgeny Yevtushenkoand his third wife, English translator Jan Butler.[1]

In 2016 an adaptation ofMikhail Bulgakov'sThe Master and Margaritaproduced by Yevtushenko won theBBC Audio Drama Awardin the Best Adaptation category.[4]In 2018, Katie Hims'Black Eyed Girls,which he directed, won the BBC Audio Drama Award for Best Series/Serial.[5]
