Early life
editSamuels was born in Los Angeles, the daughter of Kathy, a producer for unscripted series, and Scott, a U.S. marshal. She has three brothers and a sister.[3]
Career
editSamuels held a recurring role as Gertrude "Gigi" Hollingsworth inWizards of Waverly PlaceonDisney Channel.She also played the child celebrity Ashley Blake on theDrake & Joshepisode "Little Diva". She then appeared in the filmsThe Stepfather(2009) andFurry Vengeance(2010). She also starred in theABCseriesThe Gatesas Andie Bates and theABC FamilyseriesThe Nine Lives of Chloe King,in which she played Chloe.[4]
Samuels next appeared in the recurring role of Bonnie Lipton in thefourth seasonof theFXhorror seriesAmerican Horror Story.[5]She co-starred withMae WhitmanandBella Thornein the high school comedy filmThe DUFF(2015).[6]She played a leading role in season one of theFoxhorror comedy seriesScream Queens.[7](2017). Samuels appears in a recurring role as all three Frost sisters (theStepford Cuckoos) in theX-Men-based Fox television seriesThe Gifted.[8]

Personal life
editSamuels studied marketing and intellectual property atStanford University.Taking off a quarter to filmScream Queens,she returned to school in January 2016 and graduated in June 2016. She was a member of theKappa Alpha Thetasorority.[10]
Around 2017-2018, Samuels began dating actorLucas Till.In March 2024, Samuels revealed that the two had since gotten married and were currently residing in Till's hometown ofAtlanta, Georgia.[11]In May 2024, Samuels announced that they had welcomed their first child earlier that year.[12]
