Class structure
editThere was a recent edit where a sentence describing Group C as having a thin veneer was deleted citing: "Small engined cars were only uncompetitive in the outright sense. Group C wasn't just 1 class." I restored the sentence and respond to that, when several rounds of the Australian touring car championship in 1980 and 1981 had less than 12 cars I would like to believe the comment is still valid as when you split it into classes you have three or four cars per class that it constitutes a 'thin veneer'. --Falcadore(talk)12:01, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
Re-write
editThe hodge-podge additions to the article in the name of technical accuracy since the first major re-write has lost its tightness and the piece needs to be re-written again. Not blaming any editors in isolation, just stating that looked at now without having seen the article previously the writing feels bloated and stat-heavy. --Falcadore(talk)02:44, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
