I remember this. Imo the only similarities betweenPromareandAtsushi Ōkubo'sFire Forceare the themes of firefighters, people with pyrokinetic powers and a mass spontaneous human combustions disaster. Outside of those Promare is fairly different from FF. While the film could have possibly been inspired (or however one wants to put it) somehow by the manga, I feel like all this was just a coincidence that was only made into a bigger deal then what it actually is. Its kinda unfair to compare the length and depth of a multi-volume manga series with an almost two hour anime movie with a complete story. Also, no disrespect to Ōkubo but he didn't invent the "fantasy/sci-fi firefighters" idea.--185.32.8.34(talk)09:21, 19 June 2021 (UTC)
