Trachysalambriais a genus ofprawns.It was erected in 1934 byMartin Burkenroad,as a subgenus ofTrachypenaeus,withT. curvirostrisas itstype species.That subgenus was elevated to the rank of genus in 1997 byIsabel Pérez FarfanteandBrian Kensley.[1]It contains the following species:[2][3][4]
