Hello, I'mTheFarix.I noticed that you added or changed content in an article,Shōnen manga,but you didn't provide areliable source.It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like toinclude a citationand re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see thereferencing for beginnerstutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message onmy talk page.Please do not changed sourced content on an article or add content that is not directly sourced.Farix(t|c)21:16, 29 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did atShōnen manga,without citing areliable source.Please review the guidelines atWikipedia:Citing sourcesand take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. —Farix(t|c)21:18, 29 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in anedit war;that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use thetalk pageto work toward making a version that representsconsensusamong editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. Seethe bold, revert, discuss cyclefor how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevantnoticeboardor seekdispute resolution.In some cases, you may wish to request temporarypage protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you beingblocked from editing—especially if you violate thethree-revert rule,which states that an editor must not perform more than threerevertson a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. —Farix(t|c)21:18, 29 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please stop addingunsourcedcontent, as you did onShōnen manga.This violatesWikipedia's policy on verifiability.If you continue to do so, you may beblockedfrom editing Wikipedia. —Farix(t|c)21:33, 29 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Yes but there are a substantial amount of sites that say it’s for 12 to 18 years of age. Deb Aoki is the only person to claim that but she has no evidence to support that. She is merely assuming that’s the age range when there is no consistency to that and while Kodomo-muke (for children) is the only confirmed manga demographic that age range fits in. While most sources say that Shonen is for boys ages 12 to 18. In fact most agree it’s for teen boys. Some say tween to teen boys but tween refers to 12. You want multiple sources then here I will provide them for you. And once you read all these please consider adding these to the references and change the age range of the Shonen demographic on the page. Thank you. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ShonenDemographic?from=Main.Shonen

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Wikipedia'spolicy on multiple accountsusually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account beingblocked from editing.Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals yourIP address,which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you.Izno(talk)19:54, 20 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in anedit war.This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected tocollaboratewith others, to avoid editingdisruptively,and totry to reach a consensus,rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article'stalk pageto discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at anappropriate noticeboardor seekdispute resolution.In some cases, it may be appropriate torequest temporary page protection.If you engage in an edit war, youmay beblockedfrom editing.Morgan695(talk)22:26, 24 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

You don’t get to dictate what is reliable or not. Those two linkshttps://thewordcounter /meaning-of-shounen/

https://japanesetactics /what-does-shounen-mean-in-anime We deemed reliable and have been for a few years. You don’t have any authority to deem them not.SG1994!(talk)04:43, 8 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you atWikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warringregarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy onedit warring.Thank you.Morgan695(talk)05:07, 8 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Abusing the system to win an argument that you’re clearly proven wrong in? Wow. 😂SG1994!(talk)05:12, 8 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

You have beenblockedfrom editing for a period of72 hoursforedit warringand violating thethree-revert rule.Once the block has expired, you are welcome tomake useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try todiscuss controversial changesand seekconsensus.If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seekdispute resolution,and in some cases it may be appropriate to requestpage protection.
