Vincent Farrar(25 February 1947 – 13 July 2017) was an English professionalrugby leaguefootballer who played in the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s, andcoachedin the 1980s. He played at representative level forGreat Britain,EnglandandYorkshire,and at club level forFeatherstone Rovers(captain),Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks,Hull FCand theSheffield Eagles(captain), as aprop,hookerorloose forward,[1]wascaptainof Hull during the1978–79 seasonand1979–80 season,[4]and coached at club level forFeatherstone Rovers.[2]

Vince Farrar made his début for Featherstone Rovers on Saturday 21 August 1965,[9]in the summer of 1977 he was the subject of a transfer bid fromBradford Northern,[10]in 1977 he was transferred toHull F.C.for a fee £10,000 (based on increases in average earnings, this would be approximately £90,560 in 2016).[11]
