Life and career
editBorn inPalermo,after graduating in architecture at thePalermo UniversityVincino made his professional debut in the newspaperL'Ora.[1]After moving to Rome to collaborate with the newspaperLotta continua,he was among the founding members of the satirical magazineIl Male,which he also directed for four years.[1][2]In the 1980s he collaborated with numerous publications, includingCorriere della Sera,Tango,Cuore,and founded theL'Espressosatirical insertIl Clandestino.[1][2]
In 1995, he started a long collaboration withIl Foglio,where he worked until his death.[1][2]In his later years he also collaborated withRadio RadicaleandVanity Fair.[3]His inspirations wereJean-Marc ReiserandL'Asino.[2]
