Yura Matsuda(Tùng điền du lương,Matsuda Yura,born 22 July 1998)is a retired Japanese competitivefigure skater.She is the2015 Triglav Trophysilver medalist and 2016Asian Open Figure Skating Trophychampion.

Career
editEarly years
editMatsuda began skating in 2005.[1]In the2011–2012 season,she placed 23rd at theJapan Junior Championshipsand won gold at the 2012International Challenge Cupon the novice level.
2012–2013 season
editMatsuda debuted on theISU Junior Grand Prix(JGP) circuit in the2012–2013 season,finishing 6th at her event inCourchevel,France. After placing 4th at theJapan Junior Championships,she made her senior national debut, placing 8th at the2012–13 Japan Championships.She ended her season with a silver medal on the junior level at the2013 Triglav Trophy.
2013–2014 season
editDuring the2013–2014 season,Matsuda placed 9th at her JGP event inRiga,Latvia. After winning the junior national bronze medal, she placed 9th on the senior level at theJapan Championships.She closed her season by winning the 2014Coupe du Printempson the junior level.
2014–2015 season
editIn the2014–2015 season,Matsuda placed 5th at theJapan Junior Championshipsand 15th at theJapan Championships.Making her senior international debut, she won the silver medal at the2015 Triglav Trophy.
2015–2016 to present
editScoring personal bests in all segments, Matsuda won the bronze medal at her2015 JGPevent inLogroño,Spain. She made herGrand Prixdebut at the2016 Rostelecom Cup.
