TheJapanese Gardenis a municipal park on theAvenue Princesse Grace,in theLarvottoward ofMonaco.It is next to theGrimaldi Forumconvention centre.[1]The garden is 0.7 hectares in size, and features a stylised mountain, hill, waterfall, beach, brook, and aZen gardenfor meditation.[1][2]It is open daily from 9:00 to sunset.[1]

The garden was designed by Yasuo Beppu, the winner of the Flower Exhibition of Osaka 1990, as a miniature representation ofShintoistphilosophy.[2][3]
