Serkamora,also known asThe Serk,is a settlement in theDeshaanregion ofMorrowind,along the banks ofLake Hlaaluin northwestRedolent Loam.It was under jurisdiction ofHouse Redoran,thoughHouse Hlaalualso protected the town in times of crisis.

During thePlanemeldthe town was used as a testing ground for theLlodos Plagueby theMaulborn,garnering it the nameQuarantine Serk.The Serk graveyard is nearby and crypts and catacombs run beneath the town.

History

Second Era

In2E 582,the city was put infected with the Llodos Plague by the Maulborn, unbeknownst to the inhabitants. They masqueraded as caretakers and urged others in Deshaan to go to the Serk for the cure.^{[citation needed]}Nostrum Breva, the leader of the force, was exposed for creating deadlier batches of the plague and executed, and the Maulborn were run out of the Serk.
