TheOuroborosis a symbol linked toSatakal,depicted as a circular image portraying aserpentconsuming its own tail.[1]Another version of this symbol, featuring three heads resembling aneagle,lion,anddragon,became connected to theThree Banners War.[2][UOL 1]

InRedguardculture, the symbol of a snake consuming itself in an endless cycle of rebirth was a motif revered as a symbol of their godSatakal.[1]

Three Banners War[edit]

During theSecond Era,the ouroboros symbol became associated with the ongoing conflict of the Three Banners War. This variation features heads representing each alliance: the eagle for theAldmeri Dominion,the lion for theDaggerfall Covenant,and the dragon for theEbonheart Pact.[2][UOL 1]It was intended to evoke the essence of the three warring alliances.[UOL 1]

This emblem was prominently featured on various decorations, includingholidayitems for celebrations such as theNew Life Festivaland theWitches Festival,[3][4][5]as well as other celebratory occasions.[6][7]The imagery was incorporated into ChefDonolon's renowned cake collection, adorning desserts known as Jubilee Cakes.[6][8][9]
