Agave syruporagave nectar,also known as Xagave, is asyrupderived from the agave cactus.

Characteristics

Agave syrup is thin, with colors ranging from darker yellow to almost transparent.[1]It has a neutral flavor and is overall 1.5–2 times sweeter than table sugar due to its high fructose content.[2]

Agave syrup is frequently used as a substitute fortable sugaror aveganalternative tohoney.[2]
