City park shooting in Conway, Arkansas leaves at least two killed, nine injured

A shooting happened at the 5th Avenue park in Conway, Arkansas on Sunday night that left two people dead and nine others injured. The nine people are in stable condition at area hospitals, said Conway police.

At 6:00 am on Thursday, the Beijing Meteorological Bureau, a branch of China Meteorological Administration, issued for northern China an amber, second highest level, warning for extremely high winds and a blue warning for sandstorms for the weekend from April 11 to 13. This included sending out automated text messages, notifications in Weibo, WeChat, Alipay, and Baidu apps, and prevention and response work by emergency departments.

Last Thursday at 7:00 PM UTC, a sightseeing helicopter crashed into the Hudson River between New York City and New Jersey, claiming lives of family from Barcelona - Spanish Siemens Mobility executive Agustin Escobar, 49, his wife and three children aged four, five and eleven - and the pilot of the helicopter. The helicopter trip was intended to celebrate the middle child's birthday which was upcoming on Friday, April 11.
