Ivy Latimer(born 1 December 1994) is an Australian actor best known for portraying the mermaid Nixie on the Australian television seriesMako: Island of Secrets,a spin-off ofH2O: Just Add Water.

Early life and education

Ivy Latimer was born on 1 December 1994 inVentura, California,U.S.A.. Latimer's family moved toNewcastle, New South Walesat six years old.[1]Latimer attended theHunter School of Performing ArtsinBroadmeadow,in Newcastle.[2]

In 2007, Latimer participated in the amateur film festivalShoot Outalong with some classmates, winning second place in the category under 18.[2]
