Kluczbork County(Polish:powiat kluczborski) is aunitof territorial administration andlocal government(powiat) inOpole Voivodeship,south-westernPoland.It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of thePolish local government reformspassed in 1998. Its administrative seat and largest town isKluczbork,which lies 41 kilometres (25 mi) north-east of the regional capitalOpole.The county also contains the towns ofWołczyn,lying 12 km (7 mi) west of Kluczbork, andByczyna,15 km (9 mi) north of Kluczbork.
The county covers an area of 851.59 square kilometres (328.8 sq mi). As of 2019 its total population is 65,644, out of which the population of Kluczbork is 23,554, that of Wołczyn is 5,907, that of Byczyna is 3,582, and the rural population is 32,601.
