Liu Shyh-fang[1](or Liu Shih-fang;[2]Chinese:Lưu thế phương;pinyin:Liú Shìfāng;born 15 August 1959) is aTaiwanesepolitician. She graduated from theOklahoma State Universityand is a member of theDemocratic Progressive Party.She was deputy secretary-general of the office of PresidentChen Shui-bian.[3]
Early life
[edit]Liu obtained her bachelor's degree in chemical engineering fromTamkang Universityand master's degree in environmental engineering fromOklahoma State Universityin theUnited States.[1][4]
Interior ministry
[edit]On 12 April 2024, Liu was appointed toCho Jung-tai's incoming cabinet asMinister of the Interior.[5]
