Meana Sardo,orMeanainSardinian,is acomune(municipality) in theProvince of Nuoroin theItalianregion ofSardinia,located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) north ofCagliariand about 45 kilometres (28 mi) southwest ofNuoro.As of 31 December 2004, it has a population of 2,028 and an area of 73.8 square kilometres (28.5 sq mi).[3]
