Prigorje(Croatian pronunciation:[prǐgorje]) is ageographical subdivision of Croatia,the region around its capitalZagreb,which stretches along the southern slope ofMedvednicamountain (colloquially known as "Zagreb's mountain" ) roughly betweenŽumberakmountain range andMoslavinaregion.The termliterally means "land by the mountain(s)", "foothills".[1]
