Quingestanol(INNTooltip International Nonproprietary Name,BANTooltip British Approved Name), also known asnorethisterone 3-cyclopentyl enol ether,is aprogestinof the19-nortestosteronegroup which was never marketed.[1]It is aprodrugofnorethisterone.[2][3]Anacylatedderivative,quingestanol acetate,is used as apharmaceuticaldrug.[1]
