Rudboneh(Persian:رودبنه)[a]is a city in, and the capital of,Rudboneh DistrictofLahijan County,Gilanprovince,Iran.[4]It also serves as the administrative center forRudboneh Rural District.[5]

Linguistically the town is indigenousGilaki-speaking as well as 5%Turkic,andPersianas the standard.[6]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 3,594 in 1,079 households.[7]The following census in 2011 counted 3,646 people in 1,783 households.[8]The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 3,441 people in 1,220 households.[2]
