TheTurolianage is a period ofgeologic time(9.0–5.3Ma) within theMioceneused more specifically withEuropean Land Mammal Ages.It precedes theRuscinianage and follows theVallesianage. The Turolian overlaps theTortonianandMessinianages.[1]
