Stratford Toney Down

Stratford Toney Down(grid referenceSU095246)[1]is a 23.1hectarebiological Site of Special Scientific Interestin Wiltshire, England, which wasnotifiedin 1987. The site lies in a shallow dry valled in the south ofStratford Tonyparish, about 5 miles (7.5 km) south-west ofSalisbury.It is important for the botanically rich chalk grassland – mainlysheep's fescueandmeadow oat-grass– which supports several nationally rare plant and butterfly species.[2]
