The1810 Maryland gubernatorial electionwas held on 19 November 1810 in order to elect theGovernor of Maryland.IncumbentDemocratic-RepublicanGovernorEdward Lloydwas re-elected by theMaryland General AssemblyagainstFederalistcandidates former GovernorJohn Eager Howard,Levin Winderand formerUnited States SenatorCharles Carroll.[1]
General election[edit]
On election day, 19 November 1810, incumbentDemocratic-RepublicanGovernorEdward Lloydwas re-elected by theMaryland General Assembly,thereby retaining Democratic-Republican control over the office of governor. Lloyd was sworn in for his second full term on 26 November 1810.[2]
