The1908 United States presidential election in Wyomingtook place on November 3, 1908, as part of the1908 United States presidential election.State voters chose three representatives, or electors, to theElectoral College,who voted forpresidentandvice president.
Wyomingwas won by theSecretary of WarWilliam Howard Taft(R–Ohio), running withrepresentativeJames S. Sherman,with 55.43 percent of the popular vote, againstrepresentativeWilliam Jennings Bryan(D–Nebraska), running withSenatorJohn W. Kern,with 39.67 percent of the popular vote.[1]Taft won the state by a margin of 15.76%.
Bryan had previously won Wyoming againstWilliam McKinleyin1896but had lost the state to McKinley in1900.
