England recorded a 4–0 Test series whitewash over theWest Indies[1]and a comfortable 3–0 win overNew Zealand.[2]Their one-day form was sporadic, however. In theNatwest Trophy,they failed to make the final, which saw New Zealand defeat theWest Indiesby 107 runs. In theNatwest Challenge,they beatIndia2–1.[3]In domestic cricket,Warwickshirewon theCounty Championship.
