The2010–11 I-Leaguewas the fourth season of theI-League,which was the highestfootballleague competition inIndiaduring the time. It ran from 3 December 2010 to May 2011.[1]Dempoare the defending champions. On 30 May 2011Salgaocarwon the title by beatingJCT2–0 in the final match of the season.

Teams

Sporting Clube de GoaandShillong Lajong FCwere relegated at the end of the2009–10 seasonafter finishing in the bottom two places of the table. They were replaced by2010 Second DivisionchampionsONGC FCand runners-upHAL SC.[citation needed]

In other team changes,Mahindra Unitedwere disbanded at the end of the 2009–10 season to concentrate on youth football.[2]They were replaced byIndian Arrows,a newly founded team under the auspices of theAIFF.[citation needed]
