The2013 German Masters(officially the2013 Betfair German Masters) was a professionalrankingsnookertournament that took place between 30 January – 3 February 2013 at theTempodrominBerlin,Germany. It was the sixth ranking event of the2012/2013 season.[1]
Ronnie O'Sullivanwas the defending champion,[2][3]but he decided not to compete this year.[4]
Ali Carterwon his third ranking title by defeatingMarco Fu9–6 in the final.[5]

Qualifying[edit]
Qualifying matches were held between 28 and 30 November 2012 at theWorld Snooker AcademyinSheffield,England.[13][14]10 matches from the second qualifying round, were held over and played on 30 January 2013 at theTempodrominBerlin,Germany.[8][9][10][11][15]Matches were over 9 frames.
