Twenty-one teams were invited to the race. Of these teams, eight areUCI WorldTourteams, twelve areUCI Professional Continentalteams, and one is aUCI Continentalteams. Each team entered seven riders, except forAG2R La Mondialewith six andBingoal–Wallonie Bruxelleswith five. Of the starting peloton of 144 riders, 127 finished.[2][3]
