The7th Air Division( đệ thất phi hành sư đoàn, Dai 7 Hikō Shidan) was a land-based aviation force of theImperial Japanese Army.The division was formed on 29 January 1943 in theNetherlands East Indiesas part of theEighth Area Army.[1]It was incorporated into theFourth Air Armybased atRabaulon 28 July 1943.[1]

The division moved its headquarters toWewakin June 1943. The division was disbanded 24 July 1945.[1]
