The club founded in 1901 asU.S. Ivrea Calciowas refounded in 2010, after its dissolution the previous year, asA.S.D. Montalto Ivreaafter thatU.S.D. Montaltesehas transferred the seat fromMontalto Dorato this town. In 2012 the club was renamed with the current name.

[edit]Unione Sportiva Ivrea Calciowas founded in 1901, with its Football Division founded in 1918.[2]
Seasons from 2005–06 to 2008–09
[edit]U.S. Ivrea Calcioplayed 2005–2006 inSerie C2/A,and won the promotion play-offs beatingA.C. Carpenedoloin the finals, being therefore promoted toSerie C1,but promptly relegated after having lost the relegation play-out the next season.
In the summer 2009, the club failed, to register inLega Pro Seconda Divisioneand disbanded.
From A.S.D. Montalto Ivrea to A.S.D. Calcio Ivrea

[edit]In the summer 2010U.S.D. Montaltese,after the 9th place in 2009–10Promozione Piedmont and Aosta Valley group B,[3]has transferred its seat fromMontalto Dora[4]toIvreaand was renamedA.S.D. Montalto Ivrea,[5]after the dissolution of the historicalU.S. Ivrea Calciothe previous year.[6]
In the season 2010–11 it plays always inPromozione Piedmont and Aosta Valley group Branking 2nd in the league and 3rd in the subsequent playoffs.
In the season 2011–12 it was promoted toEccellenzaafter winning the group B ofPromozione Piedmont and Aosta Valley group B,also conquering the regional Scudetto of Promozione.
A.S.D. Calcio Ivrea
[edit]In the summer 2012 the club that plays inEccellenza Piedmont and Aosta Valley group Awas renamedA.S.D. Calcio Ivrea,thus becoming the newIvrea.[7]
