Accor Arena(originally known as thePalais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy), also known asParis-Bercy,is an indoor sportsarenaandconcert halllocated in the neighbourhood ofBercy,on the Boulevard de Bercy, in the12th arrondissement of Paris,France. The closestMétrostation isBercy,which also serves theFinance Ministryacross the aforementioned boulevard.
Designed by the architectural firm Andrault-Parat,Jean Prouvéand Aydin Guvan, the arena has a pyramidal shape and walls covered with a sloping lawn. It has aseating capacityranging from 7,000 to 20,300, depending on the event. As part of the 2014–2015 renovations efforts, the arena was renamed Bercy Arena on 1 January 2015. It was again renamed AccorHotels Arena in October 2015,[2]until it received its current name in June 2020.[3][4]Since 1985, the arena has hosted the annualFestival des Arts Martiaux.[5]

The Accor Arena is the main venue for theParis MastersATP Tourtennistournament, and hosts the annualLNB All-Star Gamebasketball event and theGrand Slam Parisjudo tournament.[6]It is also used for many other sports events, such astable tennis,handball,basketball,boxing,gymnastics,track cyclingandshow jumping.
Since 1985, the Accor Arena hosts the annualFestival des Arts Martiaux.The event was founded byKaraté Bushidoand showcases martial arts masters from around the world.[5]
POPB (Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy) hosted the European gymnastics championship in 2000, the1991and1996[7]FIBA EuroLeagueFinal Fours,and theFIBA EuroBasketchampionship in1999,among others. It also hosted the2009–10 EuroLeagueFinal Four.It also hosted theMasters Karting Paris Bercystar race, from 1993 to 2001, and again in 2011. It was co-host of the2017 IIHF World Championshipand theFIBA Women's EuroBasket 2021.
The arena hosted the 2017European League of Legends Championship SeriesSummer Finals[8]and the2019 League of Legends World ChampionshipFinals.
On January 24, 2020, it hosted anNBAregular season game between theMilwaukee BucksandCharlotte Hornets,who would be represented by FrenchmanNicolas Batum.TheChicago Bullsbeat theDetroit Pistons126–108 at the arena on January 19, 2023, during the2022–23 NBA season.[9]The2023–24 NBA seasonwill see theBrooklyn Netsplay theCleveland Cavaliersat the arena.
The arena hosted France's firstUFCevent on 3 September 2022, forUFC Fight Night: Gane vs. Tuivasa.[10]UFCreturned to the arena on 2 September 2023 forUFC Fight Night: Gane vs. Spivak.[11]
In May 2023, the arena hosted theBLAST.tv Majorfor the video gameCounter-Strike: Global Offensive,in what would be the finalmajorplayed onGlobal OffensivebeforeCounter-Strike 2was released in September 2023.
The arena is set to be a venue for the2024 Summer Olympics,hosting thebasketball finalsand theartistic and trampoline gymnasticsevents.
