Afon Porth-llwydis a river inSnowdoniain north-westWales.It flows fromLlyn Eigiauon the south-eastern edge of theCarneddaurange to join theriver Conwy.
Its waters are trapped atCoedty reservoirbefore flowing down to pass under Pont Newydd inDolgarrog.From Coedty reservoir some water is also diverted to Dolgarrog Power station (along with water fromLlyn Cowlyd) via large black pipes.
