Aging Cellis apeer-reviewedopen accessscientific journaland an official journal of theAnatomical Society.It is published on their behalf byJohn Wiley & Sons.It was established in 2002. Itseditor-in-chiefis Monty Montano (Boston OAIC).[1]The journal covers research on all aspects ofaging,publishing research articles, reviews, minireviews, and commentaries.

In August 2022, its four editors-in-chief resigned, alleging excessive workload and insufficient compensation.[2][3]At the time,Retraction Watchsaid the journal was "regarded as the leader in its field".[2]
