Aimar Moratalla Botifoll(born 11 January 1987), known simply asAimar,is a Spanish professionalfootballerwho plays as aright-backorcentre-backforTercera FederaciónclubUE Tona.

Club career

Born inSant Antoni de Vilamajor,Barcelona,Catalonia,Aimar made his senior debut withEC Granollersin theregional leagueson 29 October 2006, in a 1–0 away win againstUE Cornellà.[1]He signed forCF Peraladaof the same league in 2007, and joinedTercera DivisiónsideCD Banyolesin July 2008.

In summer 2009, Aimar moved toUE Llagostera,recently promoted to the fourth tier.[2]In 2011, after the club's promotion toSegunda División B,he renewed his contract,[3]but struggled to appear regularly due to apubalgia.

Aimar featured sparingly during the2013–14 season,as Llagostera reachedSegunda Divisiónfor the first time ever. He played his first match as a professional on 23 August 2014, starting the 2–0 away loss toUD Las Palmas.[4]He scored his only goal in the competition on 7 February of the following year, the game's only in a home victory overRecreativo de Huelva.[5]

Safe for a brief spell in the FinnishVeikkausliigawithSeinäjoen Jalkapallokerho,[6]Aimar continued to play in the Catalan lower leagues.[7]On 27 January 2022, he signed withTercera FederaciónclubUE Olot,[8]winning promotion toSegunda Federaciónat the end ofthe campaign.[9]
