Akshaibar Lal[1](born 1 January 1947; also known asAkshaywar Lal Gond)[2]is an Indian politician. He was elected to theLok Sabha,lower house of theParliament of IndiafromBahraich,Uttar Pradeshin the2019 Indian general electionas a member of theBharatiya Janata Party.[3]He defeated his nearest rival, Shabbir Balmiki ofSamajwadi Partyby 1,28,752 votes.[4]He was a member of the 17thUttar Pradesh Legislative AssemblyfromBalhafrom 2017 to 2019. Lal served as an MLA for five terms.[2]

Personal life[edit]

Lal was born on 1 January 1947 to Bhagwan Das Gond inBarhajcity ofDeoria district.[2]He passed10th standardin 1963 from Shri Krishan Intermediate College, Barhaj Deoria.[1]He married Urmila Devi on 21 June 1966, with whom he has three daughters and a son. He is an agriculturist by profession.[2]
