Al-Muqaabarat(Arabic:المقعبرات) is a village in northernSyrialocated west ofHomsin theHoms Governorate.According to theSyria Central Bureau of Statistics,Al-Muqaabarat had a population of 607 in the 2004 census.[1]Its inhabitants are predominantlyChristians.[2]The village has twoGreek Orthodox Churches.[3]Al-Muqaabarat includes Haret Mar Doumat, Haret Mahfoud and Haret Jerjes.
