Aleisha-Pearl Nelson(born 2 March 1990) is a New Zealandrugby unionplayer. She plays for theBlack Fernsand for the Auckland Storm.

Biography[edit]

Nelson graduated from theAuckland University of Technologyas a nurse.[1][2]

Nelson made herBlack Fernsdebut on 23 November 2012 againstEnglandatEsher.She was named in the2017 Women's Rugby World Cupsquad.[3][4][5]She was part of the winning team of the2019 Women's Rugby Super Series.[6]

Nelson played for theBluesagainst theChiefsin the first-ever women'sSuper Rugbymatch in New Zealand on 1 May 2021.[7][8]On 3 November 2021, She was named in the Blues squad for the inauguralSuper Rugby Aupikicompetition.[9][10]
