Alex Shackell(born November 13, 2006) is an American swimmer and2024 Summer Olympicsteam member for the United States.[2]Shackell qualified at the2024 US Olympic Swimming Team Trialswhere she placed sixth in the 200m freestyle.

Her brother,Aaron,has also qualified for the 2024 US Olympic team after placing first in the 400m freestyle.[3]Shackell's father,Nicholas,was also an Olympic swimmer, representingGreat Britainat the1996 Summer Olympicsin the 100m freestyle.
