Alexandr Shefer(born 28 August 1971) is a formerKazakhstaniracing cyclist.[1]He was a professional racer from 1993 to 2003. He is the brother of Viktor Shefer, who was also a professional cyclist. Shefer was a coach forAstanafrom 2007 to 2009, the team ofAlexander Vinokourov,alongside team director BelgianJohan Bruyneel.
