Aliana Taylor"Ali"Lohan(/ˈloʊ.ən/LOH-ən;born December 22, 1993)[1]is an American singer, actress, model and television personality. She is the younger sister of actress and singerLindsay Lohan.[2][3][4][5]
Early life
[edit]Lohan was born inCold Spring Harbor, New York,onLong Island,toDonata "Dina"(née Sullivan) andMichael Lohan,[1]The family later moved toMerrick.[citation needed]She is the younger sister of actressLindsay Lohanand Michael Lohan Jr, and the older sister of Dakota "Cody" Lohan. She has three younger paternal half-siblings.[6][7]
By the age of 22, she converted toBuddhismafter being raisedCatholic.As of 2020, she is aChristian musicartist.[8][9][10][11]
Career
[edit]In 2005, she appeared in her sister Lindsay Lohan's music video for the song "Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)".Lohan's musical career began when she released aChristmas album,Lohan Holiday,in late 2006 under YMC Records (re-released in 2012 asChristmas with Ali Lohan). A single ( "All The Way Around") was released on July 9, 2008 (in connection with the reality television seriesLiving Lohan), which reached #75 onHot Digital Songs.[12]
As an actress, Lohan has largely appeared in uncredited roles in her sister's films, with her 2008 role of Traci Walker in a film adaptation of theR.L. Stinehorror/fantasy novelMostly Ghostlyand her 2022 role of Bianca in the Netflix movieFalling for Christmasbeing her only credited roles.[13]
Lohan began modeling at age three, working through theFord Modelagency and appearing in print campaigns for magazines such asTeen Vogueand Vogue Bambini. She appeared on the cover ofCosmoGirlwith sister Lindsay in November 2006.[14]In 2011, she signed a multi-year modeling contract withNEXT models,later appearing on the cover ofFaultmagazine.[15][16]In 2013, she signed with the modeling agencyWilhelmina.
On November 15, 2018,Billboardrevealed that Lohan had released another single "Long Way Down" and was working on an EP.[17]
