Dame Alison Mary RoxburghDNZMCBEQSOJP(néeCameron;6 September 1934 – 25 January 2020) was a New Zealand women's rights advocate and community leader.[1]

In the1986 New Year Honours,Roxburgh was appointed aCompanion of the Queen's Service Orderfor public services,[2]and in 1993 she received theNew Zealand Suffrage Centennial Medal.[3]In the1995 New Year Honours,she was made aCommander of the Order of the British Empire,for services to women's affairs.[4]She was appointed aDistinguished Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit,for services to women's affairs and the community, in the2003 Queen's Birthday Honours.[5]Following the restoration of titular honours by the New Zealand government in2009,Roxburgh accepted redesignation as aDame Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit.[6]
