ZeniMax Halifax Ltd.(trade name:Alpha Dog Games)[2]was a Canadian mobilevideo game developerbased inHalifax, Nova Scotia.The company was acquired byZeniMax Mediain October 2019.[3]
ZeniMax Media was acquired byMicrosoftin March 2021 and became part ofXbox Game Studios.As a result, Alpha Dog Games was owned by Microsoft since 2021, and it was an indirect mobile gaming extension of the Xbox brand. The studio was closed in May 2024 andMighty Doomwill sunset on August 7.[4]
