Amine Chermiti(Arabic:أمين الشرميطي;born 26 December 1987) is a Tunisian professionalfootballerwho plays as astriker.

Club career

Chermiti was mentioned as one of the African players of the year due to his performance in theAfrican Champions League,where he scored eight goals in the tournament. He is credited forÉtoile Sahel's superb performance in theCAF Champions League.

On 6 August 2008, he officially transferred toHertha BSC[2]and played his first match for them the following day in the first round of theGerman Cup.On 11 August 2009, Chermiti was loaned toSaudi Arabiantop clubAl-Ittihadfor one year[3]and returned on 30 June 2010.[4]

On 5 July 2010, Chermiti signed a four-year contract withFC Zürich[5]until summer 2014.

On 29 January 2016, Chermiti signed withGazélec Ajaccioon a one-year contract, with an option for a further year.[6]

He then signed for Saudi Arabian clubAl-Fayhain January 2019, and played seven games in the season without scoring.

In August 2019, he signed forIndian Super LeagueclubMumbai City FC.He started in their opening game, and scored the winning goal in a 1–0 victory againstKerala Blasters.

International career
