TheAnglo-French Convention of 1882was signed on 28 June 1882 betweenGreat BritainandFrance.It confirmed the territorial boundaries betweenGuineaandSierra LeonearoundConakryandFreetown.However, it was never fully ratified by theFrench Chamber of Deputiesalthough it was officially recognised by theBritish Foreign Office.[1]
