TheAntipatrid dynasty(/ænˈtɪpətrɪd/;Greek:Ἀντιπατρίδαι) was aDorian Greekdynasty[1]of the ancientGreekkingdom ofMacedonfounded byCassander,the son ofAntipater,who declared himselfKing of Macedonin 302 BC. This dynasty did not last long; in 294 BC it was swiftly overthrown by theAntigonid dynasty.
